For weaned birds, full payment is required at the time of your baby parrot adoption. To reserve an un-weaned Indian Ringneck baby, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required. A contract will be provided for your review and signature before adopting.
Our contract is designed to protect both the buyer and the health of a weaned baby for 72 hours from the time of receipt. Please note that due to inherent risks associated with adopting an unweaned baby bird, unweaned birds are not covered under this warranty.
Our baby parrot adoption fees are affordable and transparent. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to provide a loving home for a baby Indian Ringneck, which is why we keep our Indian Ringneck adoption fees as low possible. The adoption fee includes DNA gender testing and disease testing. Each baby's adoption fee is based on gender and color.
We love seeing our adopted baby Indian Ringnecks thrive in their new homes! Check out our Indian Ringneck adoption success stories on our homepage to see how our pets have brought joy and companionship to adoptee's families!
Our flock and breeder birds are tested for Polyomavirus, PBFD (Beak and Feather Disease), Avian Bornavirus and Chlamydia. One baby in every clutch is tested for Polyomavirus and PBFD before adopting. Documentation will be provided to you with each baby parrot adoption.
You may request additional testing on an individual bird(s) by adding the additional lab costs to your adoption fee. We use Animal Genetics (Avian Biotech) out of Tallahassee, Florida. Prices are listed on their website.
Every Indian Ringneck adoption includes your baby bird’s gender confirmed through DNA testing.
